Privacy Policy

How MY CHRISTMAS handles information related to its users.

Informative template • Subject to legal review

01Information we may collect

We collect only the information needed to provide and operate the platform, as described in the following sections: data you provide, access and usage data, account data and purchase-related data.

02Information provided by the user

When using MY CHRISTMAS you may provide your name, e-mail, country, language, number of guests, budget, style preferences and other data entered into your planning (lists, gifts, Secret Santa participants, among others).

03Access and usage information

We record usage events (such as pages visited, selected language and country, clicks on purchase buttons) and basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, for security, statistics and experience improvement. The IP address may also be used to suggest the initial country/market.

04Account-related data

Your account is created from the e-mail used at purchase. We store e-mail, name, password protected by hashing, language, country and your Christmas settings.

05Purchase-related data

The payment platform notifies us of the purchase confirmation, including e-mail, name, transaction identifier, amount, currency, status and source parameters (UTMs). MY CHRISTMAS does not store full card details.

06Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and browser local storage for operation, authentication (session), preferences, language, country/market and usage analysis. You can manage cookies in your browser settings; some features may stop working properly.

07Analytics and advertising

We use internal usage events to understand how the platform is used and third-party measurement tools to measure campaigns, as described in the following sections.

08Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel to measure visits to public pages, checkout initiation and purchase confirmations, with event deduplication. Data is processed by Meta under its own privacy policy. You can manage your ad preferences in your Meta settings.

09Google Analytics and Google Ads, when used

If MY CHRISTMAS starts using Google Analytics or Google Ads, this Policy will be updated to describe the data processed and the purposes. While these tools are not active, no data is sent to them.

10How we use the information

We use the information to: release and maintain your access; personalise the experience by country and language; send transactional e-mails (activation, password reset, Secret Santa invitations); measure campaigns; prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.

11Sharing of information

We do not sell your data. We share information only with service providers necessary for operation, with the payment platform, and when required by law.

12Service providers

We may use providers for hosting, databases, e-mail delivery, product search and measurement. These providers process data on our behalf and in accordance with their contractual and legal obligations.

13Payments

Payments are processed by the payment platform responsible for the transaction, under its conditions and policies. Sensitive financial data is handled by that platform, not by MY CHRISTMAS.

14Third-party links and services

The platform may display links or results related to third-party products and services. We do not guarantee price, stock, availability, delivery times, quality or commercial conditions, and we do not control those third parties' privacy practices.

15Security

We adopt reasonable technical and organisational measures, such as encryption in transit, hashed passwords and access control. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

16Data retention

We keep data while the account is active or as long as necessary for the purposes described, to comply with legal obligations or to resolve disputes.
